PALS Adult Program

PALS Adult Program – For a Working Life

PALS has launched a program for adults over the age of 19.  As a CLBC qualified service provider, PALS is  registered to provide services as a host agency for adults eligible for CLBC individualized funding assistance.

Our program is a person-centred skills development program that focuses on individual goals and abilities. Areas of development may include employment readiness training, employment support, daily living skills, volunteer opportunities, and/or social/recreational community-based activities.

We have an opening for one adult (Age 19-25) with autism or other neurodevelopmental disabilities. The initial program will be offered from October 4, 2010 to August 31, 2011, 3 hours per day, 5 days a week. The fee for this flexible 3 hour per day program will be based on available individual funding. We accept referrals from CLBC or private contracts. If you are on the waitlist or have no funding, please contact us for review of other options.

What is CLBC Host Agency Funding?

If PALS is selected by the individual and family to provide services, the funds allocated by CLBC for the purchase of individualized supports and services are paid by CLBC to PALS.

PALS administers the funds and works with the individual and family to arrange and manage the supports required. To learn more, please visit http://www.communitylivingbc.ca/individuals-families/individualized-funding/
