Advisory Team

PALS is fortunate to have an Autism Advisory Team of professionals with extensive experience in a broad range of services for children with autism.

Sharon Baxter - MA, BCBA
Sharon has her Master of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis and the Education of Students with Behavioural Disorders, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Sharon’s Professional Certification, includes Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, which includes testing in the field of behaviour analysis, strengthening and weakening behaviour and cultural and social issues. As a Behavioural Consult, she designs and implements comprehensive applied behaviour analytic home-based programs for children with behaviour disorders and specializes in the design of programs for children with diagnosis of autism.

Anna Matchneva – M.Ed. BCBA
Anna received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and her Master of Education, specializing in autism and other developmental disabilities, from the University of British Columbia (UBC). She completed coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis and advanced training in Verbal Behavior taught by Dr. Vincent Carbone. Anna is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Shannon Muir (R)SLP

Alexia Stack, M.Ed., BCBA
Alexia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University (SFU) in 2001, and her Master of Education from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2006. Her graduate coursework concentrated on the area of autism and developmental disabilities. Alexia is a board certified behavior analyst.

Nicholas Watkins - BA, M.Div, BCBA
Nicholas Watkins is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst™ (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB). He has worked in the field of autism and developmental disabilities since 1986. Either directly or in a clinical supervisory capacity, Nicholas has worked with hundreds of families.
